Update on Bridge Project

Thought you might like an update of the Smithland Bridge project that is being accomplished by Jim Smith Contracting, American Bridge Co. and Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority. The project continues to move along well and they have now begun painting the bridge. We have been advised that the barge flotilla with the bridge should depart the port in early September and float down to the Cumberland River site where the bridge will be jacked up into place.
