New Construction in Commerce Park

April 30, 2021

In November, 2020, U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced the federal government had secured a 15-year lease for the Paducah offices of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).  The three federal agencies will occupy a newly constructed, almost 10,000 sq. ft. building in Commerce Park (formerly known as Information Age Park).

Construction has begun on the new Field Office on McCracken Blvd.  Housing the FBI, DEA, and ATF in a single building means they can coordinate with state and local law enforcement partners.  No information has been given on a completion date.  Bruce Wilcox, GPED President and CEO stated, "we are are excited and honored to have them become tenants of the Commerce Park."
