About Greater Paducah Economic Development

Greater Paducah Economic Development is the economic development agency for Paducah and McCracken County, Kentucky.  It is a public/private partnership formed to attract and grow jobs and investment through assisting existing business with expansion projects and recruiting new businesses.  Greater Paducah Economic Development (GPED) owns or controls three separate business/industrial parks through its relationship with the Paducah McCracken Industrial Development Authority (IDA).  In 2020 GPED finalized a relationship with the IDA, City of Paducah, and McCracken County.  The interlocal agreement designates GPED as the economic development agency for the community, the manager of the IDA, and marketer of the IDA owned property.

The three parks are all different in nature featuring Paducah Commerce Park, an office park; Industrial Park West, a distribution park located less than one mile from Interstate 24; and the Ohio River Triple Rail site, a heavy industrial park located in close proximity to the Ohio River and has triple rail access.

In addition, Greater Paducah Economic Development promotes private property throughout McCracken County for job creation projects.

The mission of Greater Paducah Economic Development (GPED) is to proactively recruit and support companies that provide high-quality, high-paying jobs for our region.
